‘Let Me In’ Posters a Bit Premature

With the Americanized version of the excellent Swedish vampire flick still barely more than a concept, it seems a bit premature to be mocking up posters for it already, but sure, I’ll bite (no pun intended).
I didn’t know Matt Reeves was attached to direct this, and Cloverfield and Let the Right One In have about as much to do with each other as Saw and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, but he’s a competent director so I’m sure he can make it work. The kid playing Oscar is rumored to be Kodi Smit-McPhee, who plays Viggo Mortensen’s kid the upcoming The Road, but that’s far from a sure thing at this point.
I’m still on the fence as to whether this is a good idea or not. I would say no, but I’ll still see it just to find out what Matt Reeves makes of it.
Two more concept posters after the jump via Slashfilm.

AFAIK, they’re doing the posters the sell the movie.
Pretty ridiculous that this needs to be remade. Can’t lazy Americans just read subtitles???
i think no matter what they do, it’s not going to compare to the original as with most movies. i will however say that the 3rd poster is pretty kick-ass.
