I doubt this is going to be an attack on capitalism as a theory and practice, I think instead Moore is simply going to narrow his focus to the inherent human flaw of greed. The States tends to have a great deal less government intervention in it's markets than most other industrialized western nations. This caused the recession in the US to be much more harsh then it is in Canada, for example. I know that "socialism" is kind of a taboo term in the States, but many western countries have more governmental intervention in their capitalist economies that leads to a mixture of socialism and capitalism. Despite his douptful methods I think it's better that someone who gets attention shows things up, than anyone does who doesn't get any recognition. That way I do not really have a problem with micheal moore since he's not harming anyone (besides the american ego).
