Living with First Person’s Shooters Disease
I have to admit that when I saw the first 15 seconds of this clip I thought it was going to be extremely stupid. And while my initial gut reaction was correct (as in yes, this is kind of stupid) it doesn’t mean that this video doesn’t have some pretty funny moments in it.
I for one was a first person shooter back in 1997 when Quake started to become popular in college. These guys refer to Duke Nukem but we all know that Quake, Doom, and even some of the Bond games got this genre started.
In any event, if you’re gonna do a video on this “disease” this would be a solid model to go by.
