Chris Pine Fights Bird Flu Zombies Pre ‘Star Trek’
What happens when you make a crappy movie, your company suffers financial problems and its release gets delayed, but then the star of your crappy movie ends up headlining the biggest movie of the year?
Well, you get Carriers.
The film was shot back in ‘06(!) but because of Paramount Vantage’s cash flow problems, was delayed until now, where they’re deciding to release it September 4th because audiences appreciated Chris Pine as Captain Kirk this summer.
The movie itself looks like a complete mess, as it’s mostly a bunch of people running around trying not to get sneezed on (bird flu, really?) and then there’s one zombie just to remind you it’s supposed to be scary. Expect big things from this one.
