And Robyn, let me add…I’m also 31 and absolutely worshipped MJ when I was growing up. Had all his albums, tried all hsi dance moves, etc. He’s still one of my favorite performers ever. I just also happen to believe that he touched kids. Not because he’s a weirdo, but because of the voluminous testimony I read accusing him of doing so.

I’m quite comfortable believing that Michael Jackson is a pedophile. There are mountains of evidence stacked agaisnt the man. And if you think our justice system is fair for everyone, and that no matter how much money you have – rich or poor -you’re going to get a fair, unbiased shake, you’re nuts.

@ Madison, I guess that’s why vigilantes are encouraged to take justice into their own hands and lynchings are smiled upon. Get real, the “court of public opinion” is just that “opinion”.

You sound like a freaking Scientologist, believing what’s true for you is the absolute truth, who give’s an ass rat’s what anyone else thinks.

That said, I’m not saying he didn’t do it, I’m just saying there’s no way of knowing and that you sound like a douche.

Since I’m 31 years old, I’ve had a long relationship with Michael Jackson. My friends and I used to “play” Thriller and I dressed up as him for Halloween in the 1st grade. I’m reasonably sad that he died so young, especially on the verge of a tour, even though I wasn’t impressed by his most recent work.

The scary stuff, I don’t think we’ll ever know if he did anything he was accused of or not. It could go either way, he might have been a pedophile, or he could have been what he always said, a child stuck in a man’s body who just enjoyed the company of children (it makes sense, kids aren’t going to use your for your money, no matter how impressed they are with your personal theme park). Since there’s no way of knowing, we should just focus on the things we do know about the man.

He was an amazing artist who brought joy to many people around the world, and that’s what he should be remembered for.

Child molestors are the lowest of the low. And please spare me the “no proof” argument. The court of public opinion operates on a different set of standards than a court of law.
