Ricky Gervais Goes Badass for ‘Cemetary Junction’

From Ricky Gervais’s blog, here are the first two shots from Cemetery Junction, his upcoming comedy(?) about working class men at a 1970s insurance company. Here we see him in the…insurance factory, I guess. I’m not sure.

Anyways, this is about as badass as you’ll ever see Ricky Gervais. Since it’s Gervais and Stephen Merchant, working on this, I would assume it’s a comedy, but this summary from Collider could indicate otherwise:

In 1970s England, three blue-collar friends, Freddie (Christian Cooke), Bruce (Tom Hughes), and Snork (Jack Doolan), spend their days joking, drinking, fighting and chasing girls. When Freddie gets a new job as a door-to-door salesman and bumps into his old school sweetheart Julie (Felicity Jones), the gang are forced to make choices that will change their lives for ever.

Um, hilarious? Alright, I honestly have no idea what type of movie this will be, but if Gervais is involved, I know it will be good, and that’s really all that matters. Second shot from the movie after the jump:
