10 Classic Funny Moments From Billy Madison
I honestly can’t remember a comedy that has come out that even came close to Billy Madison. Don’t get me wrong, your Old Schools and Superbads are funny movies. The Apatow generation is certainly holding its weight but it’s been at least 10 years (even more) since I’ve seen an incredibly funny and more importantly random humor movie.
And yesterday Billy Madison happened to be on. I watched the damned thing front to back and I was laughing my ass off. It’s not the blatant comedy that’s funny. It’s the subtle moves that I am so drawn to.
I tried finding videos of not just the obvious funny moments, but some that if you watch a few times make you laugh even harder than at the commercially funny moments.
Food for thought: Billy Madison was directed by a female. She also directed Half Baked

Sandler in his prime was simply incredible. There will never be another movie like Billy Madison. Glad to see you included the talking dog.
God this movie is great. The other day I was with some friends and threw my banana peel out the window, and all at the same time we yelled, “O’Doyle Rules!”. That’s how I know my friends are awesome, and the fact that it was in unison without missing a beat.
I don’t think there will be anything like it again.
I gotta say, I kinda prefer Happy Gilmore. It could be just because I saw it more times during my formative years (it being one of my older brother’s favorite movies) so I can practically recite it now. Haven’t seen Billy Madison for several years now; you’ve made me want to see it again.

This movie is definitely awesome!
I love moments like “I AM THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE”… definitely something my friends and I can relate to saying whenever we say something boneheaded or remember something so simple.
Kinda like, I HATE YOUR FACE from Grandma’s Boy.

While Madison is funny, there are a ton of movies that are funnier. BASEketball, Ghostbusters, Stripes, The Blues Brothers, Shaun of the Dead, Real Genius, Better Off Dead, just to name a few. It’s pretty obvious you are between 20 and 30 if you find Madison in your wheelhouse.
