2012 Trailer is an Symphony of Destruction
I’m not exactly sure why Roland Emmerich likes seeing the world die so much, but I have to give him credit, no other director knows how to do destruction quite like him.
Though his last few films have probably landed him on some terrorist watch lists, 2012 looks to be his most destructive to date, and now he’s just blowing crap up without even reason. Earthquake? Yeah. Tidal wave? OK. Meteor shower? Sure. I mean hey, the Mayans predicted it.
I’m waiting for some sort of pseudo-science explanation a-la-Day After Tomorrow, but whether I want to or not, this is a movie I will actually go see just for the special effects, and I can’t remember the last time I said that.
