Something about this first Time Traveler’s Wife trailer just strikes me as a bit…off. Maybe it’s that I think that sci-fi fans will be turned off by the fact that it’s essentially The Notebook with time travel (Rachel McAdams included!) and romance fans won’t like that Eric Bana dissolves into CGI every couple of minutes.

Me? Well, I think it’s just a tad bit creepy that he comes back in time to tell an eight year-old she’s going to marry him someday, and then warps to when she’s finally eighteen and makes out with her. I get that he “can’t control it,” but still, if he hadn’t hit on the eight year-old back then, would they ever have gotten married in the first place? It’s like Terminator Salvation all over again!
