Please Be True: Neil Marshall To Direct ‘Predators’
It’s not like Neil Marshall is Spielberg, but he’s leaps and bounds better than the Ratners and Andersons of the world. According to Bloody Disgusting (and verified by AICN), Robert Rodriguez will produce, and it’s the Marshall directing. I thought The Descent was one of the best modern horror films I’ve ever seen; the claustrophobic feel of the caves was tougher to bear than the creatures inside. Doomsday was visually a lot of fun, and I thought it started off good enough before falling apart in the third act. Anyway, the Predator franchise is hurting, and Marshall’s style might just be what revives it. I’m excited.
