So What the Hell is Clash of the Titans?
Since it’s quite literally my job to sit and surf the internet for entertainment news all day, I’m quite surprised when I come across a what appears to be a pretty major project I’ve heard nothing about. And I never get my movie news from IMDB.
So I was very surprised when I was looking up two actors over the weekend (Sam Worthington from Terminator Salvation, and Alexs Davalos from Chronicles of Riddick) and found that both of them were cast in a movie called Clash of the Titans. Here’s the rundown of the cast so far:
Sam Worthington - Perseus
Liam Neeson - Zeus
Ralph Finnes - Hades
Gemma Arterton - Io
Danny Huston - Poseidon
Alexa Davalos - Andromeda
But despite an all-star cast, the project is being directed by Louis Leterrier of Transporter and Incredible Hulk fame, and is actually a remake of an early ’80s movie about the Greek myth of Perseus.
So…what the hell? What is the project and why haven’t I heard word one about it? How did Leterrier wrangle in all these big names? Will this be any good? Better question: Will this be better than Thor? Both are due out in 2010, so I guess we’ll have a whole lot of godly warfare on our hands next summer.

It’s been well covered on most major movie sites, don’t know how you missed it.
It sounds pretty awesome.
certainly not the real poster, got the names of all the cast n crew from the 80s film at the bottom.
looking at the actors to, this could be badass. liam neeson as zeus… badass.
possibly tamer hassan as the god of war!?!?! is it set in east london ??? so long as theyre goin for comedy hard thtll be badass
