Here are the reasons why Humpty Dumpty just might be the defining horror movie of our time:

1) Plot synopsis: “A half-human, half-alien creature embarks on a murderous rampage after his alien mother is abused by two rednecks in the Deep South.” Excellent. And so true, those damn rednecks will rape anything!

2) It’s directed by David Ellis, the genius behind such great films as Final Destination 2: Revenge of Death and Homeward Bound 2: More Lost Talking Animals

3) It’s 3-D! Meaning it’s totally, like from the future.

4) It’s from the producers of THE LORD OF THE RINGS. See it right on the poster? So if you like that Oscar winning trilogy, you should like 3-D mutant egg creatures killing rednecks, right? I’m sold.
