Put Larry David in any role, and he’ll always just be Larry David. And by telling him to be like Woody Allen, just makes him like Larry David all the more.

Fortunately, most of us love Larry David, so seeing him play himself in Allen’s Whatever Works should be just fine and dandy. We see him befriend a young street urchin played by Evan Rachel Wood, and despite earlier rumors, there are almost no pedo-vibes in the whole trailer. See for yourself.
