Click on the photo to vote for biggest ass kicker
I never knew about this contest but I think it’s a great idea: the guys choice awards. Here you can vote on stuff like best ass kicker, and most dangerous dude in the world. Kudos to Spike to coming up with this concept.

I wasn’t really feeling the original District 9 trailer I saw, but it’s amazing what a little unblurring and Google alien translate will do for you. In addition to a revamped trailer (after the jump) we also have this new poster, which shows the newest gun targets of redneck America. Guess we’re finally done fake shooting Osama Bin Laden.
It’s an interesting concept for a movie, because if an alien ship did crash here by accident, I’m guessing we would be complete dicks and start waterboarding them despite their muffled cries of “We come in peace!”

Alright, this offically concludes Inglorious Basterds poster week here on Unreality. We’ve done Pitt, Roth and Krueger, and now we’re moving on to people I’ve never heard of not holding cool, over-the-top weapons.
I’m done with these posters, unless B.J. Novak or Sam from Freaks and Geeks gets one.

How can you look at Larry David and not start immediately laughing? He’s a total a-hole, but at the same time, he’s right about 99% of the time. I definitely want to check this movie out at some point, mostly because I’m sure during its course, Larry will call people out for their inconsiderate behavior, making a gigantic scene before finally pulling aside a stranger and discussing the merits of orthopedic footwear. Even if it’s like an hour and a half long episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, I’ll be laughing. I only wish that Leon would make a cameo appearance. You got to get in that ass, Larry!

This was not a fun list to come up with. I have to admit I did a lot while coming up with these scenes. At first I nearly threw up, then I kind of laughed at some of it. Then I nearly threw up again because I realized that I just laughed at some of it.
But one must admit that some of the most powerful scenes in movies come from scenes that take place in a restaurant. Whether it’s humor or vulgarity (in this case it’s a little bit of both) the audience is drawn in by the sheer amazement of how absurd the movie can get in these moments.
Here are 10 of the nastiest restaurant scenes in movies

I have a problem because Star Trek comes out today, and I really wanted to write a corresponding article, however, my knowledge of the show has been limited to a season of Voyager when I was thirteen, and I was just staring at Seven of Nine’s chest the whole time.
Fortunately, I’ve found Steve Schofield, a great photographer who put together this artistic collection of Trekkies (Trekkers?) in their natural habitat. I highly suggest you go to his site to see other photos, including Star Wars and Ninja Turtle-themed shots.

Star Trek opens today and, like my buddy Paul, I wanted to write or post something related to its highly-anticipated release. Also like my buddy Paul, though, I really haven’t seen much Star Trek. I’ve never seen any of the movies, and I’ve only seen one episode ever (the one where Kirk has to fight some alien to the death or something). I’ve never seen an episode of Deep Space Nine or Babylon 5 or Star Trek: The Next Generation, and I’m not even completely sure that Deep Space Nine and Babylon 5 are a part of the Star Trek universe. That said, I am excited for the new movie, and I do appreciate some good cosplay. Hence, my decision to create a gallery of Star Trek cosplay. Take a look at some good - and some not-so-good - Star Trek cosplayers after the jump.

You think this is the whole thing? This is nothing. If you check out the full article you’ll notice that this picture is only about a fourth of what this culprit accomplished.
Well I’m not sure I’d use the word “culprit.” We’re all guilty of this kind of stuff but to actually see the computer logs is quite daunting. Man, some people decide to try and cure cancer and some people figure Redtube is way more important.
Life’s priorities will remain a mystery.
