You should watch Spy Game again, if it’s not for Pitt, do it for the amazing performance of Redford.
Anyway, I tought the two of them together were truly great.

It remind’s me of Patriot Games for the feel. The action is secondary to the story, witch is something you can’t say for most of the same movie genre whe’re seeing today!!!

Legends of the Fall is touchy-feely woman stuff, most of which is supposedly gorgeous images of plains. I saw it to please my wife, then had myself a lobotomy.
As for True Romance, there is nothing farther from Legends of the Fall than this gem. To be true, I stumbled on the film totally by chance. One day, a colleague of mine handed me a VCR with the title written on it and said “I think you’ll like this.” I thought “oh, so that’s what he thinks of me.” I was unimpressed.
I brought the tape home and it laid next to the TV for the better part of a month. Then, one Sunday with nothing better to do, I suggested to my wife that we watch it. She agreed. It’s a good thing that she likes Tarantino films, because this one is a handful and a half !
I can only add one thing : if you like Tarantino stuff, you cannot allow yourself to not see this True Romance.

So I used to seriously hate Brad. I pretty much thought he was a giant pussy. I also thought Legends of the Fall was some touchy feely crap that I’d typically hate. My wife FORCED me to watch that damn movie. I now consider it one of my favorites, probably the second best Brad movie (after fight club) and watch it every time it’s on.

Legends of the Fall is an amazing epic of the life of three brothers, and the one girl they all loved. Julia Ormonds voice is the sexiest voice ever.

I’m a little shocked that you haven’t seen True Romance. A classic, and if you’re going to write about Tarantino, then you must see this film. Floyd is classic stoner and great comedy against the violent background.
And, yeah, Kalifornia is pretty awesome.
