I recently just got back into drawing again after about a five year hiatus, and I have to admit, I’m having more fun with it than video games these days. Yeah, weird, I know.

But some fans combine their love of a game with their artistic sensibilities, and can create some truly great pieces in the process. I chose to look at Final Fantasy VII art here, because it’s an exceptionally popular game with many works to choose from.
