The Nye Incidents Coming to the Big Screen
Are alien abductions your bag? Then maybe this will excite you. According to Variety:
Dark Castle is turning to aliens as its newest bogeymen.
The Warner Bros.-based horror label has picked up rights to Devil’s Due graphic novel “The Nye Incidents,” from sci-fi and horror novelist Whitley Strieber. Todd Lincoln will direct.
Inspired by true events, comicbook revolves around a medical examiner on the hunt of a killer of alien abductees.
Few things scare me as much as alien abductions, but it’s tough to pick a side here. If I understand this correctly, someone is killing alien abductees. As if these people didn’t already have enough to worry about, what with anal probes and sex experiments. That said, I did take notice of the ominous “inspired by true events,” the equivalent of movie poison. I’m guessing we won’t be seeing any aliens. Anyone real the comic?
