Hey look! It’s the first official still from Tin Tin! Well, not really. It’s just Andy Serkis sitting around in a mo-cap suit, so it very well could be a shot from Lord of the Rings or King Kong, and we wouldn’t know the difference. Oh well there’s Jamie Bell and Steven Spielberg, so I guess it’s legit.

So is Tin Tin going to be equally as creepy as Polar Express and Beowulf? It looks that way. But whatever, 3-D is more rockin’ than lame these days, so I expect the film to be a good time. But seriously, time for some animation shots soon. I want to see what depth of the uncanny valley we’re going to be dealing with here.
