The Morning Link: Little Shop of Horrors Getting Remade…Again
Looks like Little Shop of Horrors is past its sell-by date. After all, the last time it was remade was in 1986. Even if that was a remake of the original from 1960, it’s still over twenty years old.
I mean, after something is over 15 years old — assuming it was decent to begin with — it’s de rigueur that it be remade. This isn’t rocket science, people. This is Hollywood.
And Hollywood kind of sucks right now.

I LOVED this movie as a kid because it is so fun and weird, and as an adult I still love it for Rick Moranis and Steve Martin (and OMG Bill Murray). I HATE when Hollywood pulls this crap…does no one have any good ideas anymore? Why must they keep tampering with classics?!
(And I am aware of the irony in this statement, since the 1980s movie was itself a remake of an older movie. But…I don’t care. Nothing can top it)
