Shorts Trailer Sadly Involves No Saluting
In his quest to be known as the most bi-polar working film director in Hollywood today, Robert Rodriguez is swerving back from guns, guts and gu-really hot chicks to make another PG family film in the tradition of Spy Kids called Shorts.
A kid finds a magic meteor that grants him any wish he wants. These wishes come true in the form of a barrage of poorly CGIed tiny robots and giant insects that help him fight bullies or make friends or something. It’s the kind of movie that makes me say “Hey, I wonder if anyone will ever make a good live-action kids movie ever again?” All signs point to no.
