The Everyday Lives of Superheroes

Ever wonder what it’d be like if Superheroes were just regular people like you and I? Like what if Superman had a job as a limo driver and he didn’t necessarily have any superhuman powers? He was just a dude wearing a Superman cape driving a limousine.
When you add the element of costume and real life it winds up being pretty hilarious. So in other words, I found some cool pictures of people in superhero costumes doing normal “human” things.
Ugh, when you put it that way it seems kind of dull, but it’s pretty damned funny.
Enjoy
Thanks to Dulce Pinzon for creating these.

Why are all these superheroes mexicans? It’s like someone stopped off at home depot and hired a bunch of borderjumpers to do minimum wage work wearing old halloween costumes.
The spidey image is classic. very well done.

Haha! Great photographs.
to Dan:
So superheroes can’t be Mexican?
You have to remember that all the people who do the few jobs left in America anymore are Mexican.
Who knows, though? Maybe the recession will get gringos to lower their prices enough to be employable again.
From Dan “Why are all these superheroes mexicans? It’s like someone stopped off at home depot and hired a bunch of borderjumpers to do minimum wage work wearing old halloween costumes.”
Dan? Dan O’REILLY? Is that YOU, you racist, xenophobic, redneck?
and i like how the female superheroes aren’t even in the workforce.. theyre doing the laundry and taking care of the kids…
Priya, maybe the female superheroes should stop being lazy and get a real job. Its a crazy IDEA but it works with all the male superheroes…
Seriously this is the biggest waste of 30 seconds you will ever have.
Amateurish rubbish !
Priya, haven’t you heard? Taking care of kids is work. Some people get paid for it, others don’t. Working in an office isn’t the sole form of employment on the planet. Unless those beautiful kids are mixed race, they’re probably not that woman’s own babies.
And wow Austen, you’ve never actually taken care of a kid, have you? Try making 3 entire, healthy meals, 2 snacks, entertaining, teaching, bathing, clothing, changing diapers and potty-training, consistently disciplining one child, let alone multiple kids, every day of the week, with no help from anyone else, while keeping a house clean, driving to school, doing errands, managing finances, doing PTA, helping with homework, 7 days a week. At one point some organization or other added up all the hours a family caretaker, like a stay at home parent, actually worked, and then figured out how much they’d be making in the outside world if they were doing those same jobs; they found that the average salary would be over 100,000 dollars per year in the US. If you’re a stay at home parent, the work doesn’t actually stop, ever, and there is no pay. If you’re the nanny, you’re lucky to get minimum wage, never mind health care, and work far more hours than you’ve actually agreed upon without overtime pay, and sometimes with the threat of physical, mental, or sexual abuse over your head. Because the skills required to do these things are mostly associated with women, they aren’t held in high regard by the outside work forces, and it’s incredibly difficult to find other types of jobs in order to move up and make more money.
Seriously this is the biggest waste of 30 seconds you will ever have.
Amateurish rubbish !!
it’s good

Dad made the finances that Mom is managing.
Dad came home from his 9 - 5, what does he want to do? Work more?
Obviously Dad should help on a regular basis, but the majority is done by the mom in a stay-at-home-mom situation. You are, quite obviously, nit picking a very good point made by Jake.
hilarious! great post!
