Gametrailers has the very first look at actual Bioshock 2 gameplay footage, and I have to admit, it’s pretty awesome. I’ve never been the biggest fan of the first game, unlike the entire rest of the world, but I do have to say that it’s always been gorgeous, and the sequel is clearly going to be no exception.

We see a few new things in the video. First and most notably is the “Big Sister” we’ve been hearing so much about, who unlike her lumbering father (uncle?) has ninja like reflexes and I’m guessing you spend more time chasing her around than actually fighting her.

Also new is a type of canister rifle and a good old fashioned Big Daddy arm drill. No new plasmid powers yet, the only ones in the video are telekinesis and inferno (inflame? ignite? I don’t remember). Hopefully they’ve replaced “bees” with something more useful.
