With the possible exceptions of Nancy and Yeardley, each of them are rather accomplished in their own right as comedic actors. Castellenata is great in everything he does and Julie Kavner's film "This is My Life" was seriously under-appreciated, not to mention her Woody Allen movies. I truly appreciate the abilities of voice-actors, but it takes more than a goofy voice to be effective. The Simpsons is all about the acting (actually, it's mostly about the writing, but you know what I'm saying...)

Harry Shearer and Hank Azaria are pretty recognizable outside their Simpsons voices.

Shearer is a regular in Christopher Guest's movies; "A Mighty Wind" especially was one where whenever he spoke, all I could think of was Principal Skinner.

And recently I saw "Run Fatboy Run," and I was rather shocked to not only see Azaria's naked butt, but also because he is in pretty incredible physical shape for someone many of us know mostly as a voice actor.

And just one more: When I was in 6th grade, in Home-Ec class for some reason one day we watched what I believe was a TV movie or an after-school-special (very crappy), called "Mom's On Strike." It was notable for me at the time because I recognized the young girl in it as the voice of Lisa Simpson. This must have been 1995 or so.
