Video games have obviously come a long way since the days of Atari and Coleco.  Put it this way, when video game commercials are either getting banned or the games are being rated M for mature you know it’s a sign of the times.  The further along we go with games, the closer they get to being “real” media.

And by real I’m referring to movies and television shows.  It’s almost a line that you can’t even draw anymore.  I’ll bet you that within 5 years there will be a point where someone walks into a room and thinks a movie is playing, and it’s actually a video game.

In fact this stuff already happens in game intros, just not the games themselves.  In any event with all this reality, you see some pretty badass fighting.  But for this article I’d like to focus on knife fights only.
