First Where the Wild Things Are Trailer is What I’ve Been Expecting All Along

And that is an incredibly creepy, totally-not-for-kids, vaguely inspirational, weird-ass movie that is 100% guaranteed to lose money.

It looks cool in an aesthetic sense (but seriously, brown, brown and MORE brown!), although these monsters are just flat out off-putting. Yes, they look exactly like they did in the book, but they were creeptastic back then too. I can’t imagine kids going to see this and not running out of the theater screaming. What’s this thing going to be rated anyways?

I’m trying to think of the type of person who is actually going to be excited about this movie. Die hard Spike Jonze fans? Kids’ book enthusiasts? Furries? Yeah, definitely furries.

Is there anything that you DO like, well besides the sound of your own voice and opinion of course?

The video has been removed by the user which is a shame because I really wanted to watch it.
