Tom Cruise Working on M:I 4?
Take it for what you will, but Ain’t It Cool News was informed by one of their readers that Tom Cruise is working on Mission Impossible 4:
Just a tidbit regarding everyone’s favourite operating thetan…
Tom Cruise was on the popular SMAP SMAP program here in Japan (HERE), and when asked about the Mission Impossible franchise he revealed that he has started work on the fourth installment…he’s working on the story right now.
He also commented that during his visit here he’d been thinking about how to stage a big action sequence in downtown Tokyo..dunno if he was just being polite, but sounds like a cool setting for the series, what?
Tom seemed like an all-round nice guy, by the by.

If true, I’m happy to hear this. Mission: Impossible 2 was a piece of sh*t, but the first and third installments were both great. Not good, but great. I know that it’s cool to hate Tom Cruise and make fun of him, but the guy still has a screen presence and he’s been in a lot of great movies. Really, how many Tom Cruise movies suck? Not too many. Anyway, the Mission: Impossible franchise is a solid 2 for 3 in my book, so I welcome a fourth installment.
