We only tuned in becuse we heard it was soooooo good. Well we lost interest after the first 1/2 hour …it was rather dismal and boring. i’m not sying it should be axed but this family won’t be watching it again.

While I agree with your point to “blame stupid America and it’s obssesion with awful ****ing television” for the cancellation of really good shows, I take offense that [i] Lie to Me[/i] is included in your rant. Yes, it’s another show where science solves crime, but the type of science used to solve crime is different from those of other shows. I generally like crime dramas (other than [i] The Eleventh Hour [/i] which really should be canned even if I do find the lead to be totally hot), but [i] Lie to Me [/i] –with a bit of strengthening of the writing to not include plot holes within an episode and silly, easily verified factual information–is worth sticking around.

I will say that Kings had some unimpressive moments. However, I found it a much welcome change in programing; and was looking forward to watching it over the next few weeks.

I do blame “retarded American” viewers that lack the intelligence to watch anything original. I equally blame the networks for pulling the plug on such content and feeding into their obsession by producing countless CSI clones and reality TV.

I fear that original programing no longer has a place on network TV, when shows such as ‘Pushing Daises’ and ‘Terminator: Sara Connor Chronicles’ struggle to find an audience. Meanwhile, ‘Heroes’, which is just been waiting for someone to put it out of its misery, cycles the same plot devises every few episodes.

While I agree with you that America is RETARTED and doesn’t watch some AWESOME shows (like Arrested Development, Firefly, Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared), Kings wasn’t all that good. I mean, it’s a Bible story … just “repackaged” for modern times … but it’s not a very interesting part of the Bible … check it out:
