Little Kids from Movies That Rule: Part 2

Ronnie

If you saw part one of this series, you’ll notice that there are lots of kids out there worth watching in movies.  It doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re great actors, but there is definitely a quality about these kids that warrants me saying that they “rule.”

So in continuation of this series, here are another 10 kids from movies that rule

John Connor in Terminator 2

While Ed Furlong may have looked older in Terminator 2:  Judgment Day, the character is only supposed to be 10 or 11 years old.  Terminator was to have taken place in 1984 and Terminator 2 in 1995 or 1996.  His date of birth is shown to be 1985.  So you have to admit, a 10 year-old who knows how to hack into banks and rides a motorcyle is pretty badass.

Kelly Leak - Bad News Bears

The kid smokes cigarettes and bats .900 for the bears.  Plus he has the motor bike.  It doesn’t get much cooler than that.

Ronnie Shields - Role Models

This little kid was incredible in that movie.   At first you kind of think it’s gonna get boring.  His whole persona of making fun of people starts off annoying but eventually this kids comes into his own and is one of the biggest highlights of the movie.

Gabriel Damon in Robocop 2

Kid is 12 years old, sells drugs, and has major influence over the police.  Now this is the kind of world I don’t want to live in.  But you have to admit, it’s quite badass.

The Vagina Kid in Kindergarten  Cop

“Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina.”  Enough said.

Short Round in Indiana Jones Temple of Doom

Well just as he was awesome in Goonies, I think Key Huy Quan might have been just as good in Temple of Doom.  “Dacta Jones!”

Ernie Klump Jr. in Nutty Professor

Perhaps one of the best little “big” kids ever.  He’s right up there with little doughboy.  His fart scene is incredible.

Jason Hervey in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure

You all know him as Wayne in Wonder Years.  I’ll always remember him as the little prick actor in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure who has Pee Wee’s bike towards the end.

Benny Rodriguez - Sandlot

This kid knocks the cover off of a baseball and foils the biggest dog in the history of the neighborhood.  Then he grows up to be a professional baseball player.  He’s everyone’s idol growing up.  Awesome kid.

Rat Tail Kid in Billy Madison

“Gee I can’t wait until I go to Hike’s School?”  This clip of Sandler shaking his face might be one of the best scenes in movie history.  “You gotta cherish it.”

This list was, in my humble opinion, not as good as part 1. However, I do like that kid in “Kindergarten Cop.” His better line is “Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina,” to which Arnold responds “Thanks for the tip.”

Part 1 was way better - Atreyu’s the best !
But how could you forget Haley Joel Osment in ‘6th Sense’ ? Ok, he wasn’t smoking or couldn’t break codes, but God was he amazing! I honestly regreat that he grew up.

Short Round and Spielberg’s wife were the absolute worst parts of Temple of Doom.
