Tyson Trailer Looks Intriguing To Say The Least
I’ve always been interested in Mike Tyson. There’s more than enough to talk about when it comes to his career in the ring (how powerful was he? Is he overrated for fighting mostly stiffs? How would his career have panned out had he never gone to prison?), but the real story about Tyson - to me, at least - is his life outside of the ring. He’s a guy who was the youngest heavyweight champion in the world, lost people very close to him, was used and manipulated by others who chose to exploit his talent, and has more demons inside than most people can even imagine. The trailer for the documentary looks pretty good, mostly because it seems as thought the movie will focus on Tyson the man, not Tyson the boxer. A biopic would never work; no actor would be able to capture the complexity of Mike Tyson.
