I found this delicious-looking Castlevania cake over at Kotaku.com.  The top is nothing special, but whoever made this cake paid attention ot detail for the sides, which feature the first level from Konami’s 8-bit classic.  There’s no sign of Simon Belmont or the giant bat that serve as the level one boss, so the solitary ghost will have to do.  I guess one of the things that sucks about your adult birthdays – besides being labeled “creepy” when you hit on college girls – is that you don’t get cool, custom video game or movie-themed cakes anymore.  Take a look at the rest of the cake pictures after the jump.
