Unreal Moment: Starbuck Plays Jimi Hendrix
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouz2TUBojd8
Alright, I’ll be honest. I had no idea this was a Jimi Hendrix song called “All Along the Watchtower” when I heard it the first time on Battlestar Galactica, and it was only when I was chastised by my friend for being an uncultured idiot that I learned that fact. Apparently Jimi Hendrix played the final five Cylon anthem which Starbuck’s dad (and most likely Cylon) knew and played back on (presumably) modern-day Earth.
This was a great scene from I think one of the best episodes in all four seasons of the show. But in my opinion, it wasn’t even the best part of the episode. That would be the Chief and Sharon’s imaginary house and kid. What? I’m not crying! Go away!
