My advice to you would be to pick this up on PS3. The DPad is so much more responsive and if you've played the likes of Capcom Vs SNK 2 (PS2), Street Fighter Alpha 3 (PSX) or Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Snes) you'll find it very easy to get used to. ;) Decent review and I have to agree with you on the online issues.
