According to E! Online’s “inside sources” who are totally, probably not Jason Bateman, Michael Cera has had enough scorn heaped on him from fans and castmates and has agreed to be in the Arrested Development movie. Cera has been a long holdout for a long time now, while all the other cast members have been on board nearly from the get-go.

Why did he not want to reprise his role as the awkward George Michael Bluth? Maybe because he’ll have to make out with Alia Shawkat instead of Kat Dennings? I don’t know, but whatever the case, it’s nice that I can stop hating Cera who I always figured would be the nicest guy in Hollywood.

Allegedly the movie could be out by the end of the year, but that sure doesn’t sound promising. But hopefully it slips in before January so David Cross can win a best supporting Oscar for played famed Analrapist Tobias Funke.
