But seriously, it kind of is. Humanity has been cast out from earth because of some unnamed apocalypse and they invade a peace loving alien planet for a place to live? Are we really supposed to be rooting for these odd looking celebrity-voiced aliens over the human race? That’s a bit too deep for a kids’ movie if you ask me.

Also, watch for the surprise cameo by Wall-E, because it wouldn’t be an animated movie about the apocalypse without him.
