Variety is reporting that Ashton Kutcher is set to star in the upcoming comedy “Traded:”

Storycenters on a superstar NFL quarterback and a 12-year-old middle school geek who magically trade bodies, then quickly learn valuable lessons about humility and courage.

I don’t see how this swap can work out well.  For the NFL quarterback, he’s 12 again, but at least he will be able to dominate the other kids at football, what with all his NFL experience and knowledge of the game.  The 12 year old, though?  I see only two possible outcomes, neither of which is very favorable.  The first is that the kid – in the quarterback’s body – enters an NFL game, has no clue what is going on, and suffers a spinal injury.  The second is that the kid, having no football knowledge, is benched.  It doesn’t get bad until he freaks out in the locker room, as he’s way too young to be even remotely comfortable around all those naked football players and their dangling meatpipes.
