Liev Schreiber To Possibly Land a Role in Salt
From Moviehole.com, a website that sounds like it’d be better suited for pornography than film news, comes this news concerning Liev Scheiber:
Liev Schreiber is in talks to join Angelina Jolie in the action-thriller “Salt”.
The movie, which starts filming next month in New York City, sees Jolie play the title character, a CIA officer who’s accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy and must elude capture long enough to establish her innocence.
Schreiber is a very talented actor (I saw him do Shakespeare in Central Park (Henry V, not the old playwright’s corpse, you sicko) and he was incredible) and he doesn’t seem to get the recognition he deserves. Hopefully with his role as Sabretooth in the upcoming Wolverine flick and this role in Salt, he’ll start to get more prominent roles. Here’s my quasi-bold prediction: Liev Schreiber will be the 2009 version of Robert Downey, Jr. Mark it down. I also predict that I can finish this post before the salvia I smoked about a minute ago kicks in. I did it! I’m prophetic!
