The Five Sexiest Dance Scenes in Movies
As a disclaimer, I will be completely objectifying women for the purposes of this article. It’s a nice defense mechanism that helps me cope with my own insecurities, but more importantly, it gives you, my wonderful readers, the opportunity to view some very sexy clips. There’s quite a few scenes in movies where an actress shows her seductive side, but the five I posted after the jump are, in my opinion, the best of the best. With apologies to Meg Ryan in Body Double, Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls, and Sub-Zero’s personal favorite, Tom Cruise in Risky Business, here are the five sexiest dance scenes in movies:
Salma Hayek - From Dusk Till Dawn
Salma Hayek dominates the screen as the appropriately named Santanico Pandemonium. It’s funny watching this scene when you know that Tarantino wrote the screenplay for this move - his foot fetish is so obvious. Of all the clips in this article, I think this one’s the best. It makes me want to build a shrine to Salma while she tells me how worthless I am.
Nicole Eggert in Blown Away
Apparently Corey Haim proposed to Nicole Eggert during the filming of Blown Away. What are the odds that the proposition occurred immediately after this scene was filmed?
Rose McGowan in Planet Terror
I was never a big Rose McGowan fan before I saw Planet Terror; now I’m the Vice President of her fan club. What’s great about this scene is that it takes place during the movie’s opening credits. Right away, Robert Rodriguez throws some eye candy the viewer’s way.
Demi Moore in Striptease
Demi’s dance isn’t as aggressive as Rose’s, but it’s really sexy nonetheless. Demi was about 33 or 34 when this movie was filmed, but she’s got the body of a 22-year-old. The best part of the above clip is at 2:19, but you could probably have figured that out for yourself.
Jessica Alba in Sin City
Jessica Alba gets criticized frequently for her ability - or lack thereof - to act, but few actresses could have pulled off this “performance” better than Jessica. Skinny Little Nancy Callahan done growed up and filled out, alright.

As a woman myself, I can say without question that Salma Hayek is the hottest woman in show business. I love her in everything, even crappy movies.
I am also a woman and I agree, Salma Hayek is gorgeous! I remember seeing From Dust Till Dawn years ago and that scene was the only one I remembered from this movie, just beautiful and hot!
What? No Jeff Bridges, Big Lebowski?
Someone like Robert Rodriguez much? Are his dance scenes that powerful?
I think Jessica Alba’s dance in “Sin City” is just kinda boring. She doesn’t really do anything interesting.
What about Teri Hatcher’s dance scene in Tango & Cash, i think she’s pretty hot in it.
Believe it or not, the True Lies dance by Jamie Lee Curtis is a nice one.
