Genesis Does What Nintendon’t

Remember this commercial for the Sega Genesis? I do, and weirdly, it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago. Sega pretty much just sh*ts all over the 8-bit Nintendo in this commercial, huh? And look at all the stars that lent their names and likeness to Sega: Joe Montana, Pat Riley, Michael Jackson and…James “Buster” Douglas. To this day, Douglas beating Tyson is one of my most vivid sports memories. Douglas didn’t last too long as champ, but I’m happy to see he got a video game out of it.
