And Ryan Chappelle has to be #2 in that case because he was completely innocent and Jack could have found a way to save him and failing, murdered him. If not for Teri Ryan would be at #1. I think the "up close and personal" way he did it puts it higher on the list, he didn't have to use a gun, he could have given him one of the suicide capsules the people at the Chandler Hotel got. The way I figure, Palmer's death was a karmic thing, he condemned Chappelle and reaped the consequences. I'd put him a #4 behind Mason. Happened on the season finale of the first season, and that's the thing that's shaped Jack more than any other event. Also, it set into motion Jack killing Nina Myers.
