Hallelujah: Warner Bros. and Fox Settle Their Watchmen Dispute

Salvation!
Well we all know Fox is an evil, evil company for many reasons, but it seems they’ve stopped twirling their mustache long enough to do something right for a change. They settled their legal dispute with Warner Bros. over the March release of the Watchmen movie, a property which they held onto for years, but failed to do anything with.
Here’s the official word:
“Warner Bros. acknowledges that Fox acted in good faith in bringing its claims, which were asserted prior to the start of principal photography,” the statement read. “Fox acknowledges that Warner Bros. acted in good faith defending against those claims.”
That’s legalese for “Warner Bros. has agreed to pay Fox a buttload of cash if they’ll shut they’re ****ing mouths already.” Whatever, I don’t care how it got done, as long as on March 6th I will be walking into an IMAX theater to see my favorite graphic novel realized, or you know, totally destroyed forever.
