There is no bigger fan of the The Fast and the Furious series than me, but even I can’t put a positive spin on this latest trailer. The first half is Paul Walker chasing some dude through a building, which involves zero cars and zero hot asian chicks in miniskirts.

And the second half. Oh no, please don’t, you couldn’t possibly…SOULJA BOY OFF IN THIS HOE, WATCH ME CRANK IT WATCH ME ROLL. Oh God why is this happening, please stop…WATCH ME CRANK DAT SOULJA BOY (hits mute button).

Wow, sorry that was unbearable. The trailer itself sucks on a number of levels (the horrendous scene that involves driving under a flipping oil tanker for one), but why did they have to use possibly the most ungodly rap song ever created? I would have rather had Bjork score the trailer.

All this aside, I will assuredly see this movie no less than five times.
