Grey’s Anatomy Video Game Being Developed, Apocalypse is Nigh
Let’s just start by quoting Ubisoft:
“In Grey’s Anatomy: The Video Game, fans will have a chance to take on the roles of all of their favorite doctors in an all-new original storyline. As each doctor, players will make important personal and professional decisions, explore the direct relationships with each other, and perform the delicate surgeries the series is known for, all through fun and engaging gameplay.”
I can’t believe Ubisoft canceled the Heroes game, and they’re making THIS instead. The very first thing that I thought of when I heard about it was that it had to be for the Wii. And yes, I was right, the game is going to be released for the Wii, DS and PC at some point in the future, followed shortly by the fire, brimstone and flying livestock that will accompany the apocalyptic death of video gaming as we know it.
Alright, to be fair, they’ve been making games about ridiculously un-video-gamey stuff for years (I believe there are about a dozen or so Olson Twins games floating around out there), but my deathly fear is for some reason this sells well, which it very well might considering half of America watches Grey’s Anatomy, and probably that same stupid half owns a Wii. If this game is a hit, where will it end? Gossip Girl for Xbox 360? Days of Our Lives for PS3? I don’t know, but I’ll keep praying, as I always have been, for the imminent collapse of the show, which might halt this unholy production.

I, too, will pray for the ultimate destruction of this game…
If it IS released, i might buy it just to burn it. :\
