In the real world, we would say that he was the most interesting person out of the entire cast because of his inhuman aging. Fincher pulled the ol' switcheroo--all the people that Benjamin encountered along the way were, in fact, far more interesting. That's why the final sequence was a montage of singles reviewing who he'd met in his life. Ben's not the everyman; every other normally-aging person in the film is. Living their lives is what made them special.Kind of an inverse Forrest Gump. I know I’m a few months behind on this.
