Aeon Flux was the best.  No, not the movie starring Charlize Theron, and not the regularly-scheduled animated series on MTV.  I’m talking about the animated shorts shown as a part of MTV’s Liquid Television in the early 90s.  Created by Peter Chung, each episode featured Aeon dying near or at the end, often in spectacular fashion.  The above clip – “Tide” – is one of those shorts, filled with Chung’s trademark violence and sexuality.
