Fan-Made Thundercats Trailer Must Have Been an Absurd Amount of Work

Published by Paul Tassi at 3:00 pm under Movies, Oddly Enough, Trailers

I’ve seen fan trailers in the past, and they’re normally just clips of other somewhat related movies sloppily slapped together over the top of Clint Mansell’s “Requiem for a Dream” theme. This Thundercats trailer? Well, that’s another story.

We’ve got Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel, Hugh Jackman, chick from Farscape, kids from Spy Kids, CGI Garfield, the eye of Sauron and a special guest appearance by the aliens from Galaxy Quest. And it’s much more than just a mash-up, seeing as all the actors are wearing Thundercats face paint that would not be easy to apply without a dozen odd hours of time spent on the ‘ol video editor.

This was almost enough to convince me that Thundercats will be a good movie. I mean it won’t, by any means, but it’s still a nice thought.
