I’ve been extremely skeptical of the upcoming Dragonball movie for some time now. Now with the first trailer finally online I have to say, I’m excited. Like, this thing looks bad. But not just bad, like truly, epically, terribly, horrendously awful. I love movies like that. Perhaps my favorite movie viewing experience on the planet was watching Rollerball on DVD for the first time.

Oh right, so what’s so wrong with the Dragonball trailer? Let’s see:

- For one, it’s called “Dragonball Evolution” now, which makes little to no sense, and makes me think they just wanted to throw an exciting word on the end.

- The special effects are worse than most TV shows that are on today.

- Master Roshi is Chow Yun Fat, not looking anything like the character. Maybe by the end he’ll be wearing sunglasses, have shaved his head, an grown a white goatee, hence the “evolution” in the title.

- Bulma’s hair makes me want to set it on fire just so it’ll stop looking at me.

- Goku is some douchey white guy, which is quite possibly the worst casting decision I’ve ever seen.

I can’t wait.
