Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage Screenshots are All Sorts of Frozen Kickass
IGN has gotten their hands on this delicious batch of Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage screenshots, which is the first DLC pack for the game. Honestly it looks like a completely different game with the snow and tanks and everything. I’m not sure yet if you can play as your existing character, or if they give you someone pre-programed. I’m guessing they might, because my guy currently can kill pretty much anything at 500 yards with one shot. The rest of the pics and some more DLC news after the jump.
Info:
-Operation: Anchorage will be about 4-5 hours long
-New weapons and perk
-Combat/stealth oriented
-800 MS Points
-Update (bug fixes) for all versions of Fallout 3 coming
-Second DLC, The Pitt, will take place in Pittsburgh
-Third DLC, Broken Steel, will increase the level cap
Increased level cap! Thank God, I got to level twenty about 15 hours of gameplay ago. The ability to not play past the end was exceptionally maddening, so I’m glad they’ll be fixing that. Also, some harder enemies would be nice. I can stand there and have a Raider whack at me with a sledgehammer for about half an hour before I even take notice.

Have to say I just finished playing Anchorage and I had fun. It was really easy (probably because i had it set to normal) but there aren’t many more entertaining things than shooting a Chinese commie in the face with a brand new gauss rifle then watching his corpse phase-out tron style.
