10 Songs/Sounds From 8-Bit Nintendo Games That Will Be in Your Head the Rest of the Week

You see that’s what Nintendo was all about back in the good old days. It wasn’t necessarily about the graphics. It wasn’t about the amazing controls and “real life” similarities. The 8-Bit Nintendo was all about the fun. And part of that fun were the amazing theme songs and even sound effects that would stay with us for hours, even days after playing.
And I’m not even saying that all these songs are good. I’m simply saying that after you hear them? There’s absolutely no chance that they won’t be stuck in your head for at least a week.
Here are 10 songs that you’ll soon once again be addicted to
Duck Hunt
You know the sound. It comes right after you make a kill.
Theme Song from Double Dragon
I wish there was a way to put the song into words. However, I’m pretty sure you all recognize this theme. And now it’s going to be in your head for the rest of the day.
Excite Bike
So bouncy!
Fighting Music from Mike Tyson’s Punch Out
I’m so motivated now!
Legend of Zelda Overworld Theme
Anyone who doesn’t know this song leads a VERY sheltered life.
Super Mario Brothers Main Theme
You knew I was going to add this one.
Tetris Type A Theme
Rad Racer First Option Song
The second song option isn’t all the bad either but this one is highly addictive.
Castlevania Level One
Oh you’ll definitely know the part that will not get out of your head. It’s very obvious. Essentially it’s what the chorus would be in any main song.
Contra first level
Can they make a Contra movie please?

[…] Some time ago we mentioned, in a listicle about obscure musical genres, our developing taste for Chiptune: music made with the primitive chips used in the first generation of videogame systems. With that in mind, the musical nerds over at Unreality have compiled a list of 10 Songs and Sounds from 8-Bit Nintendo Games. […]
Thanks for the free views on my Rad Racer video. And when I say “free views”, I mean the over 1,000 that have come my way from your article. Much obliged.
