Seven Badass Fighting Game Openings Videos

Mortal Kombat

I’m amazed at the progression of video games over the last ten years.  Me and Sub Zero were trying to pinpoint exactly when the amazing shift in graphics took place.  I mean it’s easy to recount the shift from 8-Bit to 16-Bit.  But when did everything become so real?

I think it was definitely the integration of the CD into video game.  And once Playstation entered the mix (unless you want to include Dreamcast) there was no turning back.  Why do I bring this up?

Because it’s incredible how video games are taking elements from movies and music videos into their own features.  Not only are you playing games now, but you are easily entertained prior to even using the controllers.   I feel like the intros to some of these games are as good if not better than most music videos or movie trailers you see today.

Wait till you see the rack on some of these women

The King of Fighters one is pretty funny.

Soul Blade, Soul CaliberII, Dead or Alive II

Is it me or could this be porn too?  Plus you can’t argue with Aerosmith’s “Dream on.”

Dragon Ball II and Rivals Schools

Variations on a Few

Mortal Kombat Armageddon and Tekken 5

I don’t know who that narrator is, but his voice rocks.   Tekken 5’s is sick.
