Unreality’s Bastard of the Week: The Lich King
Name: The Lich King (formerly known as Arthas Menethil)
Game: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
Occupation: Lord of all things undead, frozen and evil
Interests: Raping, pillaging, psychic enslavement, undead legions
Dislikes: Being trapped in the Frozen Throne, impudent guilds, LOTR’s Witch King (poser!)
Why he’s our bastard: Well he’s the evilest mother #$%@er to step foot in Azerorth in some time. He invades like he’s Napoleon, kills like he’s Genghis Khan and is immortal like, I dunno, God?
But also, he’s a bastard because he’s about to cause millions of players worldwide to retreat further into a shell of unreality (hey that’s our name!) as they complete his WoW expansion and push towards level 80. Many may never see the light of day again. May God rest their souls.
